Walpole in the Trees Regatta 2024
The Walpole Yacht Club is nestled amongst a forest of magnificent native trees in the heart of the Walpole-Nornalup National Park. It is also privileged to be the only yacht club in Australia in a marine park - the Walpole and Nornalup Inlets Marine Park.
Each year, on the March long weekend, Walpole Yacht Club hosts their 'In the Trees Regatta'. The 2024 regatta saw over 100 boats from various dinghy classes take to the water. Winds were strong on the Saturday and light on the Sunday, testing the sailors' skills. Sailors and supporters also shared lots of laughs and ice cream!
