Participants in the 2026 WAIODA Optimist State Championship are invited to join RFBYC Summer Series racing on the weekend immediately before the Championship.
This is a great opportunity for visiting and local sailors to get some valuable racing in, familiarise themselves with the venue and local conditions, and fine-tune their preparation ahead of States. It also provides a convenient opportunity for families to bring boats to RFBYC in advance of the Championship weekend.

Visiting sailors who only wish to race on the pre-State Championship weekend may do so without paying the Summer Series registration fee, but must contact RFBYC in advance. These sailors will be able to participate in the racing but will not receive a series score.
